WIP Wednesday: Crochet Flowers

posted in: crochet, WIP | 4

I’ve decided to turn my crochet flowers, first blogged about here, into a pillow! I need to make a few more flowers and get a pillow form, but it’s going pretty well! This is my first attempt at the join-as-you-go crochet, and I think it’s fairly easy.

The only thing I don’t like about this project–ALL THOSE ENDS! I thought I had dealt with 10,000 ends after crocheting the flowers and weaving in most of those ends, but then there are more. I swear they are procreating when I’m not looking. The ends are making more ends.

As far as work projects I’m sort of in-between things as I wait for yarn to arrive, so I’m working on some other smaller secret projects in the meantime. What are you working on?

Also, don’t forget there’s still time to enter into the Louet Matterhorn Giveaway here.

You crochet over the ends as you go, nothing to weave in.

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? Well, I only have a few left now…Thanks for the tip though! I guess that’s what I get for teaching myself from the internet, eh?
