New Pattern: Laurelai Cardigan

This pattern has taken forever to get out into the world. At this point, I’m not even sure what’s held up the process for so long. I finished the sample in November 2013. YES, TWO YEARS AGO. Anyways, I’m excited to finally have the Laurelai Cardigan out in the world, for everyone to knit and enjoy!

I wear this cardigan all the time. It’s slouchy, cozy, and super comfy. I love the Baah! Yarns Shasta, it’s a worsted weight washable wool that’s extremely soft and has worn very well over the last two years. These photos were taken probably 8 months ago, and there’s absolutely no pilling.

One of my favorite parts of the cardigan is the super squishy brioche on the cuffs and on the fronts of the cardigan. It’s easy to knit and creates an extra warm and plush fabric. It could, however, be easily worked in ribbing, too.
