As you may have noticed from previous posts and my Connectivity Gloves last fall, I really love SilverSpun yarn, made by the Feel Good Yarn Company. The yarn is super soft, stretchy, and spun with pure silver! I’ve visited the mill right here at NC State where the yarn is spun, and what can I say, I’m in love!
So, when Laurie asked if I’d be interested in designing a pattern for the exclusive yarn club my answer was: YEAH! The Campanile Mitts are worked in a stretchy twisted rib pattern that to me looks a bit like arches.
If you’ve never knit with SilverSpun before you are seriously missing out, and I recommend you get a skein ASAP. The yarn is conductive, which is great for gloves, but I’ve heard that it can also help with carpel tunnel and hand pain. I have plenty of that, but can’t say I’ve worn my gloves enough to see if they make any sort of impact on the hand pain.
SilverSpun is also now available in colors, but this beautiful shade of pink was also exclusive to the club. If you want to get your hands on the beautiful custom hand painted colors be sure to sign up for the Feel Good Yarn Company newsletter.
