This has been in the works for a while now, and I’m excited to finally share that I’ll be hosting my first ever Mystery Knit-A-Long starting next month, the Perspective MKAL!
What’s a Mystery Knit-A-Long?
Each week you get a clue with that week’s portion of the pattern. You can join in on the conversation in the Mountain Colors Ravelry group to share your progress, ask questions, and chat!
What’s the pattern?
It’s for a cowl. The approximate measurements are 26″ around and 16″ tall. The pattern calls for one Mountain Colors Perspectives Crazyfoot Kit, and you can find the yarn at your LYS or online. Check out the Mountain Colors Ravelry Group for a list of retailers that carry the yarn.
Sounds good, how do I sign up?
You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry here: Perspectives MKAL. You’ll get an initial PDF that has yarn and gauge info, then each week you’ll get a clue with that week’s pattern. Here’s the schedule for clues:
Sept 3: Clue #1
Sept 10: Clue #2
Sept 17: Clue #3
Sept 24: Clue #4
I’m a beginner knitter, can I join?
Yes! If you can knit in the round (or wanting to learn) you can knit this. It’s fairly easy and a great fun project and I think it’ll be totally doable for most people to finish their entire clue each week.
